Out of the mouths of babes…a contest is born!

There are 8 days left in The “B. Quote of the Summer Contest”. It’s been an exciting few weeks watching so many adorable quotes get entered and seeing the number of LIKES rise up and up. But to us, it’s so much more than a contest. It’s a celebration.

When we started this toy line we knew other brands filled their packages with ads for other toys they sell. We wanted to give moms and dads something more. A smile. A thank you. A gift.

That’s why, in every B. toy package, you’ll find a little booklet of kids’ quotes. Some make you laugh, some make you stop and think, but they all showcase kids just B.ing themselves.

Well, that little booklet was only the beginning. What started with those quotes from our own kids has grown into a gallery of kids’ quotes from brilliant children everywhere. There are now hundreds of them. Soon to be thousands, we’re sure. They are now a gift to us.

Many times a day we pop on the site reveling the community we are all creating together through the wisdom of our wee ones.

Now we’re celebrating this community with The “B. Quote of the Summer” Contest. Here’s how it works: you enter brilliant, funny or poignant quotes into the B. Quote Gallery. Visitors to our website will vote on their favorites via the Facebook LIKE button. On Labor Day, the person who entered the quote with the most LIKES wins $300 in B. toys for their family and $300 in B. toys for the children’s charity of their choice.

Even if you don’t win the contest, you still receive beautiful art made from your little ones’ wisdom that you can email, share, print for scrapbooks or pretty cards or just save forever.

If you DO win the contest you could be finished with that holiday shopping by September. And, even more importantly, you and your child could make a children’s charity that is near and dear to you very, very happy.

So as you amble through these very last days of summer enjoying bouquets of dandelions and buttercups on the lawn…no shoes, less clothes, late bedtimes and all those lazy hours spent with your wise and wonderful kids, jot down the wise and wonderful things they say and enter them in our quote gallery.

Also take a minute to take in the brilliance of other children. And celebrate being part of this wonderful community!

Follow us on Facebook to keep up-to-date on the contest leaders.
