With unabashed zest and gusto, and not a smidge of reservation or a moment’s pause, my niece Maya dove into paints my teen daughter left behind in our shed. And when we started on clean-up she simply decided she wanted to clean herself!
At 2, she teaches us grown-ups around her strong lessons all the time. Nike’s “Just Do It” has nothing on Maya. She feels (and does) everything truly, madly, deeply. We call her “kamikaze” jokingly, but we marvel at her spunk. Keep it, Maya!
