Meowsic snuck onto The Ellen Show! Meow...Me-WOW!
Pinch me. Pinch all of us. This is not real...are we dreaming? Or did Ellen Degeneres really just play a ditty on our kitty –– on The Ellen Show!?!?
We love Ellen and everything she stands for: her positive energy, her caring for critters, her love of kids. Who would not love someone who says,
“For me, it's that I contributed...that I'm on this planet doing some good and making people happy. That's, to me, the most important thing. That my hour of television is positive and upbeat and an antidote for all the negative stuff going on in life.”
Antidote indeed! A laugh, a smile, a giggle, a gift. An inspiration to all of us to be ourselves and be good. In the simplest little ways that add up to a lot.
For example, Ellen teamed up with the US Postal Service to create “Stamps to the Rescue” puppy and kitty stamps which promote awareness and a call to action for millions of pets in animal shelters around the country that need good homes. And if you can’t adopt a pet, Ellen offers a bunch of other simple ways to help.
While we are peacock-parent-proud to have one of our toys be on Ellen’s Cat Week show, we are prouder still to take a funny feline part in her making people happy. In joining Ellen in “doing some good.” We know Ellen would agree with 4-year-old Taylor’s B. kind quote and we thank her from the bottoms of our hearts.
Push the #4 button on Meowsic's page sounds to hear Meowsic thank Ellen personally. Meow!
