We have written before about our love of Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh’s business philosophy of Delivering Happiness, and we continue to be inspired and motivated by it every day. First an idea, then a company that delivered so much more than shoes, then came a book, then a bus tour—now a movement!

That movement celebrates our shared human capacity to make each other happy, and make a living at the same time.

That movement serendipitously brought Meowsic onto the Delivering Happiness bus, carried and played by the fabulous band Rabbit! (whose Hopscotch EP comes out tomorrow, March 15th!) The story of how Meowsic made it into Devin and Ashton’s hands is a tale of true magic. No one knew each other. We had no clue Meowsic was on that bus or in that video until a Facebook friend told us. Rabbit! did not know that the cat keyboard and ParumPumPum they grabbed at Target en route to their bus gig was designed by folks who love Zappos and all it stood for. Zappos had no clue that the band they loved and brought on their bus was going to hand out toy instruments from a silly new toy brand named B. whom they would later interview.

Everything is indeed a possibility. A wave of goodness and magic when we all set out to do good things. A human weaving of connections that in the end really did deliver a lot of happiness. For us, the last year had been a path filled with big-hearted people and fairy dust. Meowsic’s path onto the Zappos Happiness bus was paved by Ryan Marshall who told his friend Devin about Meowsic in the first place, after his kids enjoyed playing with it. Ryan surely had no idea that he was starting a meow-WOW chain reaction!

My favorite line in “Possibility” is:
“We can give our love and still be free…”
